If you and your partner enjoy outdoor activities then try to think of imaginative ways to add a twist to your walk or bike ride.
These 4 ideas for outdoor dates can add some fun or romance to your date.
Sunrise Surprise
Who wrote the rule that you can only date in the afternoon or evening? Lets throw the rule book away and have some sunrise fun. Prepare two blankets, a flask of coffee, bag of snacks and arrange to pick your date up (or wake them up if you are in a long term relationship) an hour or so before sunrise. It doesn't matter if you go to the top of a mountain or in your back yard, just sit on one blanket and snuggle up tight under the other and watch the day begin.
Tutti Fruity
This one involves both indoor and outdoor activities and is best kept for the weekend. If you can, go together and pick your own seasonal fruit at a farm. If you're in a city take a walk around a good fruit market and buy lots of fruit (if you're feeling adventurous buy fruit you have never seen before). Take it home and find recipes for that fruit, have a go at making jams, wines or pies. Put these in little gift baskets or just gift wrap them and go together to deliver them to friends.
Happy Snappy
Don't just enjoy the views and locations you see when you go outdoors together, share them with the world. While you are outdoors take photos of anything you see, this can be wildlife, architecture, kids playing, farm animals or anything that interests you. Now start a blog, it takes five minutes to set up and if I can do it anyone can. Upload your photos and share them with everyone. If you don't have the time then find blogs that may find your pictures useful and offer them the pictures, there are few bloggers that will say no to free images on their related topic and you get the pleasure of seeing you photos online.
Treasure Hunt
This is just a fun way to spice up a walk or bike ride, it can be as long or short as you like. Make up some clues and pop them in your pocket. When you set off on your walk or bike ride hand your partner the first clue and watch as they try to solve it. When they solve the final clue have a small reward for them, it can be a romantic gift, a bubble bath when they get home or a long lingering kiss.
